This page describes how trip search decides which trips you see and in what order. The same rule applies to every user, on the web and in the mobile app.
Which trips we show
A trip is shown if all of the following hold:
- the trip's route passes within the chosen radius of both your origin and your destination (2 km by default; on the web you can set it from 0.5 to 20 km);
- on the driver's route your origin comes before your destination, so the trip goes in your direction;
- the trip is active and has not left yet; if you picked a time, only trips departing at most 12 hours before or after that time are shown;
- it has at least one free seat (if you need a ride) or at least one free package slot (if you are sending a package);
- the driver's account is not suspended or banned.
In what order
We order results by where your origin lies on the driver's route: trips where your origin is closer to the start of their route come first. Departure time, price and the driver's rating do not change this order; you see the departure time with each trip.
What does not affect the order
- Payment: Gepek has no paid placement or ads — nobody can pay for a better position in the results.
- Ratings and reviews: they are shown with a trip but do not affect the order.
- Your data: search does not use your history, profile or location beyond what you enter in the search, and we do not store queries with your account; we record only anonymous statistics (see the Privacy policy).
What you can change yourself
You can narrow or widen the results by changing the origin, destination, radius and time, and by choosing whether you need a ride or are sending a package. More about the processing of data in search is in the Privacy policy.
